1. PLENARY SESSIONS

Plenary sessions consist of presentations by invited scientists, followed by short discussions. There will be eight such sessions with a total of 32 plenary presentations.

2. POSTER SESSIONS

All posters will be on display throughout the conference. Please mount your poster during the afternoon of Sunday, August 18. Poster sessions will have the same titles as workshops.

Maximal poster size is A0 (845mm wide and 1200mm high); orientation : portrait.

Posters will be displayed within a Workshop subject areas chosen by the author. Poster presenters will be required to be present at the poster during certain times, which will be announced on the website and at the conference.

3. WORKSHOPS

Workshops are organised by convenors that have been chosen in advance for their wide knowledge within a field. Convenors will introduce and drive the workshop, stimulate discussion and will invite short presentations from abstracts. Note: EVERY workshop contribution longer than three minutes and with more than two slides must be accompanied by an accepted abstract and must also be presented as a poster.

Oral presentations are 12 minutes, plus approximately 3 minutes for questions.

4. SPEAKER’S CORNERS

Specific times will be allocated for speakers to meet participants interested in discussion apart from the audience. Specific areas with seating possibilities will be allocated to this purpose. Times will be announced during the conference.

5. HANSEN AWARD

During the conference the Hansen Award, by Emil Chr. Hansen Foundation and Carlsberg laboratory will be presented.
